The types and details of electric cross arm

The installation of cross arm in electric power fixtures should be based on the stress of cross arm. Single cross arm should be used for straight rod or Angle rod below 15 degrees, while double cross arm should be used for Angle rod, tensioning rod, terminal rod and branch rod with Angle above 15 degrees.

1. Cross arm of door rod

The main raw material of the cross arm of the door rod is equal Angle steel. Its specifications are named according to the size and length of the Angle steel, such as Angle 90×8×5000.

It is used for the installation of the door rod of 10kV and below transmission lines. According to the different root opening, its specifications and processing are different.

2. Carry the load

The main raw material of the lifting arm is channel steel, which is the lifting beam cross arm of transformer and vacuum switch, mounted on the lifting arm. The specifications and models are expressed by the size and length of the channel steel used, such as 10×3200.

3. Single pole cross arm

The main raw material is equilateral Angle steel, whose specifications are named according to the size of the Angle steel and the length of the cross arm, such as Angle 63×6×1800. It is used for the installation of single pole of 10kV and below transmission lines. According to the installation, it can be divided into single arm and double arm.

Single pole single cross arm is mainly composed of cross arm, U-shaped hoop, M cushion iron (part of the pole and support foot and support foot hoop);

Single rod double cross arm is mainly composed of cross arm, stud bolt, M cushion iron.

4. Assembled cross arm

The assembled cross arm has ground cross arm (concrete ground arm, Angle steel ground arm and channel steel ground arm), wire cross arm (straight bar cross arm, Angle bar cross arm and tensile cross arm).

5. Other cross arms

Note: The cross arm is generally installed 300mm from the top of the rod. The straight cross arm should be installed on the receiving side, and the cross arm of the Angle rod, terminal rod and branch rod should be installed on the side of the cable.
